WHERE WE STAND

mobilepeople has been developing mobile publishing solutions since 2002 and mobile advertising solutions since 2007. Our technology platform is solidly built upon all of this combined experience in the market. Within this framework are mobilepeople’s two main platforms: our liquid™ Publishing Suite and our liquid™ Advertising Suite. Currently, our liquid™ platforms power solutions in 16 markets across the Nordics, Europe, North America, Africa and Australasia with millions of transactions processed daily.

LIQUIDSTANDS FOR FLEXIBILITY

Those who develop mobile solutions quickly learn that the rapidly evolving mobile technologies require diligence and flexibility. After careful thought, we named our platform “liquid” because of this inherently fluid nature. We feel that this term effectively describes the flexibility needed to meet current and future needs of all mobile users.

WHY LEVERAGE A PLATFORM?

 

From a technical and logistical perspective, the mobile landscape appears complex. After all, as the number of mobile web users grows, so do the capabilities—and complexity— of their devices. Compound that with the increasing complexity of the solutions being built for modern mobile devices, and it’s easy for many mobile developers and enterprise IT departments to get overwhelmed in the face of these trends.

From a global perspective, there are more than 6,000 different mobile device types used around the world today—with 1,000 distinct devices used in the US and Western Europe alone. There are also a number of different mobile carriers, mobile technologies, and specific carrier policies that can further complicate matters.

Since our start in 2002, mobilepeople has provided dozens of local search solutions to the market. Our liquid™ Local Search platform is designed to provide a federated search experience, culling results from various content sources and combining them via a rich and customized user interface.

Discovery takes all the best aspects of Local Search up a notch, leveraging knowledge of location, time of day, and mobile user preferences. Through this information, our liquid™ Discovery solution allows the mobile user to discover nearby products and services that are most relevant to their needs.

» LIQUID™ SITE BUILDER

In designing unique mobile websites for our customers, mobilepeople uses mobile web solutions that can translate to most any mobile device and leverage its specific capabilities. Our technology is able to auto-detect any mobile device type and present the corresponding optimized version of the site. In addition, we can integrate directly with a publisher’s website and handle automatic redirects to the mobile website for mobile visitors.

» LIQUID™ REPORTING & ANALYTICS

mobilepeople puts information at your fingertips and makes it easy to measure your success! Now it’s easy for advertisers (and their various agencies) to create special mobile landing pages for campaigns via mobilepeople’s liquid™ AdSite Builder. A web-based interface, the Liquid™ AdSite Builder features unique technology such as automated mobile device recognition plug-in of existing content, rich media delivery, and detailed reporting/analytics.

» LIQUID™ ADSERVER

With our Liquid™ AdServer, everything from banners to text links to SMS to search keywords can be distributed into our premium network. (We take care of formatting it all for various mobile devices.) Using our web-based interface, advertising campaign managers are afforded complete control. You’ll be able to dynamically create mobile campaigns, define insertion points, set targeting options (like date, time of day, targeted portals, mobile device types, etc.), and manage other important campaign parameters.
